I try to be an ecumenically sincere reviewer whether lavishing praise, scorn or much needed checks on empirical reality. This hotel fits the once overused and now rarely heard expression: “a diamond in the rough”, and in this case I’d say more like a lode vein among the shale. Some quick observations in litany that will tell the tale to any hard tumbled traveler: 1] They regularly clean their coffee pots and makers with something like bleach, as there is NO lingering odor before first use. 2] They allow the housekeeping to perform full cleanings. We brought a vacuum that was unnecessary as they even get under the couch cushions. Apparently they regularly shampoo the carpet, as it does not leave any color on one’s feet. We treated our room like a shoeless household. 3] The wifi and TVs are set up just right: multiple devices per room are supported, speeds are good enough for 4k streaming at a decent bitrate, and systems like Roku hotel mode work just fine. 4] The bathroom was absolutely clean and functional. 4] Breakfast is full and the eggs are real, although they’re still Supply Co. eggs. Food was satisfying and agreeable. 5] The front desk staff were happy to help with most requests. 6] Prices for the on-site mini-mart were acceptably high without being exorbitant, two snacks and two bottled drinks were about $12. 7] The parking lot is isolated from the rest of the business center with gates that are impassable to vehicles. The hotel is accessed from a single point on Cedar Blvd. My car was accidentally left unlocked and nothing was disturbed let alone removed surreptitiously. 8] The check-in process includes signing an agreement with a specific clause about noise disturbance and the hotel’s right to remove unruly guests at their expense. And just as an additional bonus, there is a lavish farmer’s market within walking distance every Sunday morning. While you can occasionally hear some loud speech between rooms during the evening, there was no guest noise past about 7 PM on a holiday weekend with several families onsite. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. An exemplary model hotel!

The property is exceptionally well‑maintained, with beautifully kept grounds, a pristine pool area, and thoughtfully designed spaces that support both leisure and group events. From the planning phase through the conclusion of our weekend, the staff demonstrated outstanding professionalism and hospitality. Sales Director Mark Murphy deserves special recognition — his leadership, responsiveness, and commitment to excellence played a major role in the success of our event. His team consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled smoothly. They surprised us by presenting each of the guests with a welcome gift! The vacation‑style guest suites were ideal for our out‑of‑town attendees. With generous square footage and a condo‑like layout, the accommodations provided comfort, privacy, and convenience. The availability of a full‑sized washer and dryer in the on‑site laundry room was an added benefit that many guests appreciated. For our formal program & dinner, we utilized the conference room, which offered the right blend of space, functionality, and atmosphere. Our Friday meet‑and‑greet in the downstairs gathering area was equally successful, providing a welcoming environment for casual networking and conversation. Throughout the weekend, the staff remained flexible, attentive, and solution‑oriented. With numerous hotel options throughout Silicon Valley, Chase Hotel & Suites stands out as one of the best for group events, reunions, and extended stays. Its convenient Newark location, exceptional staff, and spacious accommodations make it a top choice. We confidently rate our experience 10 out of 10 stars.
